Modelling

Diane started her modelling career in Vancouver working closely with local photographers and stylists and was in high demand with the many catalog and magazine shoots she was booked for. Europe was calling and she took the leap and landed in Paris with a few hundred dollars in her pocket.  Diane quickly became part of the model roster at the famed Delphine Agency to start her journey into the world of international runway modelling.

Paris, Milan, Tokyo, New York and Toronto were just a few of the locations where Diane walked the runway. Her experience covers all types of fashion shows from runway to informal and she has extensive knowledge in the role of a designer fitting model and has used her styling and sales techniques as a showroom model.

“I’ve developed a unique ability to straddle the line between model and client … getting feedback from fashion show guests about what caught their eye or what they are looking for in clothing. I was then able to communicate that information back to the designers that I worked with as a fitting model. I was able to give them valuable real-life input that would be next to impossible for them to get anywhere else.”

Diane has also coached celebrities, corporate executives and new models in posture, deportment and runway techniques and appeared in “Hot Cars and Cold Shoulders” – Real Housewives of Vancouver – Season 1 as a runway coach.

You might have seen me on Slice TV in season 1 of Real Housewives of Vancouver. I was in an episode entitled “Hot Cars and Cold Shoulders”, where I was brought in to help Reiko MacKenzie get ready for a fashion show appearance.
